Braemar Jackets

Braemer jackets are a classic item of Scottish highlander. Famous for its functional design, which is usually reserved for formal  events such as weddings, ceilidhs, or Highland games. The well fitted jacket usually has a cropped, shorter cut. Elaborate silver or pewter buttons, and ornate braiding or embroidery on the cuffs and lapels for an air of royalty. Traditionally constructed of fine wool or barathea cloth, the Braemar jackets complement perfectly a corresponding waistcoat (vest) and kilt to project sophisticated Scottish heritage. Its slightly looser cut than the Prince Charlie jacket.
